Our Story
Multiply was founded in 2018 by Ryan Robinett. Prior to that, Ryan was a part of an IT professional services organization that operated through rigorous processes to bring order and scale to a business based on people and custom projects. One of those processes was the ability to create revenue producers out of consultants that wanted nothing to do with “sales,” as well as out of new salespeople. That process, which has evolved over the last two decades, is the Multiply Customer Conversation—we call it the “Who Are We.”
Multiply began as a pure services firm forming in 2018 and signing its first customers in 2019. Multiply’s first customers were enterprise-level companies that included a regional bank, an energy and utility company, a national general contractor, a medical research institution, and IT companies providing managed services and development services. These were large, highly profitable companies that had needs and resources.
In 2020, Multiply began finding ways to create methods of engagement that allowed smaller companies to benefit. Multiply 2.0, as we call it, was the advent of our proprietary SaaS solution that allows companies to subscribe to and implement the Multiply processes at low monthly user fees and/or allows Multiply to complete engagements through the platform so that the customers can continue the processes post Multiply’s involvement with them.
In 2023, Multiply began Multiply 3.0, which is the advent of its Playbook. The Multiply Playbook is the documentation of our processes. It gives our customers the capability to efficiently continue utilizing these processes post our involvement.
Multiply is based in Birmingham, Alabama, and has built a SaaS and services client base that spans from California to North Carolina and many points in between.
